hi i am a bit of a novice i would like to build a boat for my kids - squirt possibly. can anyone give me any advice (or web sites) on how to install the nice strip planking that i see on some boats here? what wood/size to use? How do you get the nice white lines between yhe planks? do you have to use planks?
the only experience i have is i built a pram dinghy using stitch + glue hoping to varnish it but the finish wasn't up to it so this time i want to get it right
