Thanks for the great info!!! I knew may calculations were wacky. It's good to know that I have tested the model at loads of over 500#. I'm estimating the weight of the boat at nearly 100# - and trying to think of ways to make it lighter. I've purchased kevlar for the bottom of the hull and taken out one station. I never dreamed I spend so much time in the planning phase. I think I need to do even more study though. Thanks for your help!
