I too liked the design Al, and bought the plans for my son and I to build. I have since undertaken the project of building a house, and will have to put aside the building of the Dyno Mite for a year or two. That's not much help to you I guess, but I thought I'd let you know there was at least one other person interested in the design. By the pictures posted on the design site, Glen-L did start a prototype, but I don't know if they ever completed it.
I posted a question about what the minimum size of motor would be required, but got no reply.
Good luck with the project anyway, if you choose to go ahead with it.
