: : Shipmates,I can not believe that no one is building or even considering building this design! When the plans first came out I thought a number of builders would start straight away & can not believe that Glen L did not do a prototype at least to show their confidence in the design.Has NOBODY even thought about it?Al.

: I too liked the design Al, and bought the plans for my son and I to build. I have since undertaken the project of building a house, and will have to put aside the building of the Dyno Mite for a year or two. That's not much help to you I guess, but I thought I'd let you know there was at least one other person interested in the design. By the pictures posted on the design site, Glen-L did start a prototype, but I don't know if they ever completed it.
: I posted a question about what the minimum size of motor would be required, but got no reply.
: Good luck with the project anyway, if you choose to go ahead with it.

Bob,
Thanks for the reply.I have recently completed a boat from another designer on another well known web site & have always been keen to look at doing the 'Dyno Mite'.My current plans are to do either a 'JIMBO'or something similar, but the 'Dyno Mite' sticks in my mind as a fun thing to do & keep as a little runabout just for fun!Know the feeling?Just need to be convinced that the design is ok.
Al.
