One more item I neglected to mention. I was still wondering what the root cause of this problem was. My neighbor stopped by and may have identified it. The last few weeks in the northeast have been very humid (90%). The panels were cut from the patterns. I purchased the frame kit from Glen-l (includes the transom). Maybe the patterns were affected by the humidity and this affected the size of the panels. The patterns are large. Any small percentage change could impact the size of a given panel.
Perhaps if I had measured and cut my own transom, I would have found that pattern for the transom size would match the related dimensions of the other panels (assuming that the transom pattern would have been equally affected by the humidity).
Just a thought.
