Kjetil, don't do it if, if the boat is a few years old or older. I bought a 12 year old Glen L Hot Rod, I dried and dried and dried the inside the transom in my garage for 1 month, I used hot lamps and small blown electric heaters, I covered the floor from the front seat to the transom and the the transom with epoxy, 2 years later the floor the transom and 2 feet of the keel beam was all rotted from the inside out, I worked on this hull for 4 summers to get it safe for my family and I never got to lunch her !! this boat was made of the highest quality marine plywood !!

I think this encapsulation thing is the brain child of some factory executive to sell more epoxy, all those old Crist-Crafts weren't encapsulated !!
