I built the Cabin Skiff, and found it well within the 1st. time builders abilities. Now with a little more confidence I want to build the Double Eagle, but with aluminum. Do you know of anyone who has used aluminum? Did you find the plans, and patterns easy to understand? Do you feel the boat is stable?
I`m going to use the boat in Cook Inlet off the Kenai Penninsula where it can get quite rough. would you compare it`s sea-worthiness comparable with other boats in the same size range?
