On my first test run with epoxy filets I tried all of the suggested ways of shaping them but was unhappy with the results. Finally in frustration I tried the bottom edge of a beer bottle. It is perfect - makes a shapely filet of the right depth with beautifully feathered edges.
If anyone wants to buy some of these "Perfect" fileting tools, I have a large selection and will work on making as many more of them as possible this winter. Remember..If you can drink beer and listin to music while your doing it , it's not work, so boatbuilding is not work!!!
