There are several options on windows that would affect pricing. We had Hehr quote on black finish, clear safety glass. The alphabetical letters across the top of the charts below stand for the name of the RV; A = Acapulco, B = Bayou, etc.

Skin feedback

7-10-03. I just spent four days searching for aluminum siding over the Internet. I continually came up with All-Rite, whose prices are outrageous. Please, if you can, make an addition to your links page for www.interstatemetals.com, this is where I finally decided to purchased siding from. They carry filon, as well as aluminum siding, trims, and many other rv type siding products. There rates for filon are 18.70 per linear foot, ( compare this to all-rites price of 58.00 per linear foot) There rates for aluminum siding were considerable cheaper as well. 2.05 per square foot, All-Rites price was 4.75 per square foot. I think that www.interstatemetals.com would be a much deserved resource for rv siding, and many people will appreciate that there is an alternative to All-Rite. Robert W. Harms Link added.

7 Mar 01 ...one thing you might want to pass on to your customers is siding...prices for regular trailer siding have gotten ridiculous, but there is an alternative...the aluminum sheeting that is used to construct "boxes" on trucks like uhauls & moving vans works quite well & is much more affordable. It also has the advantage of being smooth rather than corrugated, which gives your project that "new style" look. It is available at most truck/trailer repair facilities, & if you shop around, can be purchased (at least in my area) for around 80.00 for a 4x10 sheet. Its also a lot more durable than regular siding tin. Jimmy Handy

Hi Barry,

Thanks for the kind words. The Niagra Has been a wonderfull project. My wife and I went to an RV show in Tampa 2 weeks ago. I was amazed to find travel trailers in the $25-$35,000 range with cabinets made of particle board and vinyl. My Niagra is all solid oak cabinetry and no particle board.

To answer your questions about siding, roofing and windows.
The siding is Filon, a semi-rigid fiberglass reinforced plastic. I had passed on to your office the company I purchased the siding from. It is located in Bolivar, TN and is called Coralux. The roof is a rubberized roof one piece seamless and quite easy to put on. It was purchased from All-Rite RV Supply in Hollister, CA. The windows are 30" x 25" crank out windows purchased from Lowes Home Improvement Center.
