If it's done properly you won't see the fibreglass, when the resin is applied the glass turns transparent and looks like a coat of varnish.
Just look at the photos of boats that people have built using this method, can you see the glass?
The glass/epoxy skin will give a more hardwearing finish than resin and varnish alone can, and it will last a lot longer before it needs refinishing.
