I've been thinking of building a boat for a while now, and as I am not good with money, it must be on the cheap. Anyway, I sometimes trim or remove trees for people and where I dump the trimmings, they have some pvc pipe up to 24&qupt; in dia. with wall thickness of a half inch and more. They will sell it for two dollars a foot , I'd just have to plug the ends, which I thought I'd do by cutting plywood circles and fiberglassing them to the ends. What do you guys think about this idea? It would be the cheap way to go.
